such an eventful day. first stop, dinner at kannichikan yakiniku restaurant (not kaninne ar), a korean makan place, located right next to checkers. i tell you, this place is awesome. no wonder it's always pack there. the food was orgasmic. we ordered the bbq set (1 big plate of slice beefs and 1 big plate of smooth & tender ox tongue). at first i didn't know it was tongue, and these fellas didn't say anything about it until i ate few of it. then only they told me.....but too bad. it was so good until we ordered another plate of tongue...hahaha...sounds fun rite? to make it more fun, we ordered a bottle of sake (i think it's sake) shoju and finish it there. but of course i didn't drink la...hehehehe.
then, after dinner, we moved on to checkers, since my friend is one of the big boss there, might as well do it there. give support a bit la. when i reached there, it was quite dead la, only saw prem, loh and velverse there. i said ok la, not too bad, it won't be another wild night. i guess i was wrong. then slowly the crowd came in. first, shahril, then followed by ganesh, nik, cikgu, maryam, jafwan, shirley & fren, eunice & alvin, lil'joy, may, lucas, luilui, des, tk & julie, christine and few others more. i was surprised to see so many of them came. infact, i'm still surprise until now. anyway, i would like to say thank you for spending few hours of their time to go to checkers. truly appreciate it.
it's good to see them in one big group, talking to each other, like those old days, when all of us were working at the previous company. then i heard the dj was announcing about the birthday song and cake, and the band (la viva) started to play birthday song. malu la, have to go to the front and blow the candle right in front of everybody. then have to sing some more, not one, but twice. i think i sounded pretty bad that night. makes me feel malu to go there again.
after that i quickly ran to the back, hiding, but can't hide la, they all grab me, ask me to down this, down that. the worst was from the checker's manager. taste awfull man. don't ever trust the pub manager...hehehe. luckily the toilet was nearby for me to *up up away* everything that i've *down*. i think i did that 3 times, if i can remember correctly la.
oh ya, the cake taste good after that...hahaha.
i got birthday present, yay!!! thanks to lil'joy and maymay for the lovely present. the next day then only i realize that the present was a set of soap, body wash, and tongue spray. hmm, it's that a hint or what.....makes me wonder.
