happy birthday, mak

this morning, i called my mak, and wishes her a very happy birthday. she was happy to received my call, and said thank you for remembering her birthday. of course i'll always remember your birthday, mak. it is the most important date to remember. although she tried to sound happy and cheerful, but deep down inside, i can still hear there were "tears" in her voice. i guess she was touched by talking to me, who seldom go back to see her. don't worry mak, i promise i'll go back to see you this weekend.

mak, i know we were "susah" last time (with 9 children, and with dad's RM350 salary). thanks to you for all the sacrifice you've made to make sure we never miss our meals, and skipped our educations. look at what your children have achieved? we couldn't have done it without you, mak. terima kasih atas segala pengorbanan mak selama ini.
