yay...finally i'm going for a 5 days holiday this year. last year didn't go anywhere, but this year i've decided to go for a short trip. where am i going? i'm off to chiang mai, to explore the beauty of the northern thailand. i don't know how many people have been there, but definitely i'll be flying off there alone, since everyone is busy. it will be first time for me to travel alone, and i know it will be a bit tough, but since i've already got my flight and my room confirmed, what the heck...just go there and learn more about their culture.
i have some pictures of the hotel i'll be staying. it's a 8 rooms boutique hotel, and after done some checking on the Internet, i think this place should be awesome.
the hotel name "Tri Yaan Na Ros Colonial House"
the not so grand entrance

and these are some of the comments about this place:
"Beautiful and tranquil boutique hotel, with lots of charm. Staff very helpful and friendly. There are only 8 rooms, all decorated in Thai and colonial style. A perfect place for a perfect moment in Chiang Mai. Plus on Saturdays, there is a local market next to the hotel."

"Simply a delightful, wonderful place to stay. The room was as pictured and although a bit smallish, met our expectations for a very comfortable place to stay. A family run Colonial House landscaped so that you feel you re on a tropical island. In addition, free internet was an unexpected bonus. Wonderful gift shop which had prices and products better than we found on the street. Sing Sing was a marvelously gracious hostess. The staff went far out of their way to make our visit enjoyable: Wonderful breakfasts, helpful attitudes, smiling faces...just a joy to stay there."
